Parks & Recreation

Barrow County is home to both state and county parks, including Fort Yargo State Park, which features a circa 1790s log fort built by early settlers, along with a 260-acre lake 18-miles of trails for walking and mountain biking, and a disc golf course. The County's leisure services department and the Barrow branches of YMCA of Georgia's Piedmont (www.gapiedmontymca.org), also offer a variety of programs and services, providing fun for all ages.
