Braselton
Braselton serves as the gateway to northwest Barrow County. The Town has the distinction of spanning 4 counties including Gwinnett, Hall and Jackson. Braselton’s location provides excellent transportation access and the community experiences tremendous high-quality residential growth and exceptional industrial growth. The Atlanta Business Chronicle recently referred to Braselton as the “node de jour” for development activity on I-85. In 2005, the Town received statewide accolades for its receipt of Georgia Trend’s “Trendsetter Award” for achievements in economic development. The Town has been recognized by the National League of Cities as a “City Showcase” and was named “America’s Dream Town” through an Internet poll.
Braselton is a leader in providing critical infrastructure necessary to facilitate new business and industry. State of the art wastewater reclamation facilities along with ample and well managed water resources have earned Braselton the designation as a Georgia “WaterFirst Community”.
Braselton is home to world-class Chateau Elan Winery and Resort, attracting over 500,000 visitors per year. The manufacturing firms of Panoz Auto Development, Mayfield Dairies, and Kings Delight chose Braselton. And, the distribution facilities for Haverty’s Southeast Distribution Center, Home Depot, Whole Foods, Tractor Supply and PetCo and corporate headquarters for Year One, Peachtree Tooling and Progressive Lighting Inc. are located in the city limits.
